Chief Customer Relationship Officer
Karrian Hepburn, career experience spans over 14 years and includes Strategic & Financial Planning, Marketing & Sales, Designing and Implementing Policies and Procedures, Customer Relationship Management, and Business Compliance as it relates to Anti Money Laundering and Know Your Customer-related matters and people leadership.
Karrian is a Licensed Broker with the Securities and Exchange Commission (TTSEC), a Licensed Trader with the Trinidad and Tobago Stock Exchange (TTSE) and a holder of Mutual Funds Licence from the Institute of Canadian Bankers.
She holds an MBA in (General Management) from The University of the West Indies and a B.Sc. in (Management Studies and Public Administration) also from The University of the West Indies. In addition, she has completed international professional training in the areas of Business Support Services, Audit, Credit Risk Management and Operations Shared Services.
In the role of Chief Customer Relationship Officer, she has executive responsibility for managing all customer relationships and service touchpoints across the corporation.
Assistant Vice President, UTC Advisory Services
Linda Wilson-Mano is a senior manager at the Trinidad & Tobago Unit Trust Corporation with over ten (10) years of investment management experience. Over the course of her career, she has managed several funds including the Corporation’s flagship equity fund – the Growth and Income Fund. As a former Investment Manager, she brings a strong background in fund management, finance, investments research, new fund development, production promotion and marketing.
Mrs. Wilson-Mano holds a BSc in Industrial Management from the University of the West Indies, St. Augustine and also possesses a Masters in Business Management (MBA) with a focus on Finance from the Arthur Lok Jack Graduate School of Business. She also serves on the Board of UTC Fund Services.
Omar Holder joined the Trinidad and Tobago Unit Trust Corporation in December 2003. Prior to joining the UTC he spent almost three years at RBC Royal Bank (Trinidad) as a Management Trainee.
Mr. Holder started his career with the UTC in the Marketing, Communications and Distribution Department where he was responsible for sales promotions, sales training, investor education and coordinating the marketing efforts of all UTC sales channels.
Mr. Holder was also responsible for leading the UTC’s Corporate Social Responsibility efforts where he was instrumental in the UTC copping the Employer’s Consultative Association’s 2010 Employer of Year Award. He possesses an undergraduate degree in International Finance and Marketing from the University of Miami and a Masters of Business Administration from Heriot-Watt University.
As a Sales Manager, his 11 years of financial services experience will enable him to provide both individual and institutional clients of the UTC Advisory Services Department with the quantitative and qualitative investment advice they need to make informed decisions. When not at work, he spends time with his young family and pursuing entrepreneurial endeavours.
Senior Financial Advisor
Tennille Whiskey started her Investment Management career in November 2007 at the Trinidad & Tobago Unit Trust Corporation managing one of the Corporation’s top performing fund in both 2009 and 2010. She brings this achievement-focused attitude and knowledge as an investment professional to the UTC Advisory Services Department where she now serves as Senior Financial Advisor.
Ms. Whiskey earned her BSc Economics and an MSc in Industrial Innovation, Entrepreneurship and Management from University of the West Indies, St. Augustine. She teaches several finance courses for an International MBA program.
Ms. Whiskey enjoys raising her energetic son, and is an avid baker, currently building a tome of original cupcake recipes.
Roger Emile Clifton
Senior Financial Advisor
Roger Emile Clifton has over twelve years experience in the Financial Services Industry, where he was employed in the banking, insurance and mutual fund sectors. During his tenure, he operated in the areas of customer service, cash management, insurance sales, personal banking, credit analysis and investment analysis. As an analyst in the Financial Services Industry, he was largely responsible for Public Corporate entities listed on the local and regional stock exchanges.
An entrepreneur at heart, he has also been very much involved in the Beverage Manufacturing sector, where he served as a Consultant designing business strategies for a family owned enterprise. He was also responsible for market research, business development and management of the company’s real asset portfolio.
Mr. Clifton graduated from the University of New Brunswick with a Bachelors Degree in Business Administration and is an avid reader with an affinity for business strategy, business start-up, equity investments and real estate investing.
Currently, Mr. Clifton provides financial advice, Financial Planning and Investment Advisory services to the Corporation’s client base.
Sherwin M. Gill
Senior Financial Advisor
Sherwin M Gill began his career in the local banking industry in 1990 holding positions in several areas of banking operations. In 1996 he joined the Unit Trust Corporation as a Customer Service Representative with a passion for providing service excellence to individual and institutional clients both at home and abroad. During the course of his career at the UTC, he held senior positions in the customer service area as well as key positions in business development and business support systems.
From 2010, Mr. Gill worked closely with the President of UTC Financial Services USA, Inc. and UTC North American Fund, Inc. providing support for these subsidiaries. He played an instrumental role in improving the operational efficiency of the North American Fund and in planning and execution of several marketing initiatives to build the North American Fund brand. With 22 years of financial services experience, Sherwin considers his current role as Financial Advisor to his clients to be most rewarding.
Mr. Gill graduated from the University of London with a Bachelor of Science degree in Information Systems and Management and is currently reading for his MBA from the Heriot Watt University in Scotland. He is the father of two children and enjoys playing the guitar.
Desiree Hackett Murray
Desiree Hackett Murray joined the UTC in July 2005 and has over fifteen years experience in the Financial Services Industry. Her offerings are wide and diversified given her exposure in credit analysis, financial planning, marketing, management, project planning and customer service.
As a Business Development Officer, she was able to plan and deliver over eighty financial planning seminars, attract new high net worth businesses, personalize service to increase clients’ net worth and surpass sales by over 350%.
Desiree graduated from the University of New Brunswick with a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration (First Division) with a concentration in Marketing.
Manager Research & Information
Solange Moniquette started her career in the Financial Services Industry and has been employed in the banking and insurance sectors. She has a wealth of experience in the field of research, data collection and statistical analysis. She joined the Trinidad & Tobago Unit Trust Corporation in 2016 as the Manager – Research & Information.
Solange graduated from the University of Warwick with a Bachelor of Science, Master of Mathematics, Operational Research, Statistics and Economics (BSc MMORSE).
