Kathryn Abdulla

Ms. Kathryn Abdulla is a distinguished professional with a profound depth of legal expertise bringing strategic and transformative insight honed from nearly 30 years in her field.

During that period, she has navigated complex legal landscapes and regulatory frameworks with acumen having held pivotal roles at some of the Caribbean's most prominent entities.

Currently serving as the Caribbean Head of Legal & Corporate Secretary at The West Indian Tobacco Company Limited, she provides executive leadership and governance oversight, while ensuring legal compliance across the company's operations in 25 markets. Prior to this role, Ms. Abdulla served as Group Corporate Secretary at Guardian Holdings Limited, overseeing multifaceted corporate matters of a diverse portfolio of subsidiaries within Trinidad and Tobago and across the Caribbean.

She has served on the boards of non-profit organizations such as the Blood Bank Association, showcasing her dedication to social responsibility and a commitment to community-focused initiatives.

Ms. Abdulla is a graduate of Hugh Wooding Law School with an LLB (Hons) from the University of the West Indies, St Augustine and a past student of Bishop Anstey High School. She is currently a non-executive director and chairman of Demerara Tobacco Company Limited in Guyana.
